Here are some basic tips for keeping pets safe on an RV trip
Safety is always the number one priority for any RV trip you and your family are taking, and this goes for everyone in the vehicle - not just humans! For those who want to take one or more pets with them on their various RV adventures, there are just a few simple safety themes that should always be maintained to keep your furry friends away from any danger.

Know the Laws in the Area
First and foremost, it's essential that you know the laws of any area you'll be traveling to with your RV and pet. In some places, pets may not be allowed in certain areas or attractions - so make sure you're aware of these restrictions before heading out.
Furthermore, certain places may have basic restrictions for how pets can behave while in an RV on the road. Some may require the pet have a harness or a carrier while others may even require that they certain items or accessories. Knowing these restrictions are ahead of time help you make sure your pet stays safe and secure in the RV environment.
Packing Your Pet Essentials
Once you've confirmed the legality of bringing your pet to certain locations, you'll want to make sure that you have all the essential items for taking care of them on the trip. This includes things such as food and water dishes, leashes, collars with tags (including their name and contact information), waste bags and any toys or treats they may need.

Additionally, these stops are great opportunities to let your pet explore a bit and get some fresh air. It's important to remember, however, that your pet should remain on a leash or in their carrying case at all times while outside of your RV - just in case they get startled and decide to run away.
